How To Use EML Files In Outlook
I have had so many people ask me how to
use EML Stationery that I decided to do a quick tutorial on it.
Most people think that EML's are suppose
to be saved in your stationery folder....but actually the exact opposite
is true..lol. Save your EML file to a folder either on your C drive
or on your desktop for easy access.
An EML file looks like this once
downloaded

Yep, just a simple white envelope with
the name of the stationery.
Now that we have our EML downloaded now
we need to get Outlook ready to use them.
First Open Outlook. Then go Up to
Tools and then down to Options like so...

Once your options is open, click on the
send tab and make sure that HTML is checked like so....

With that taken care of now minimize
Outlook and double click on your EML envelope....it should open in
Outlook.
You should see your stationery (although
you may not see the floaties and things like that at this point) Go
up to your View button and make sure your Source edit button is checked.
This will open up three tabs on the bottom of your screen as shown below

The first tab is your edit screen....this is where you do
all of your letter typing. Highlight or backspace over the text goes
here. Don't backspace to far or you will lose the embedded font.
Once you are done typing your letter you can click on the preview tab and
see how your stationery will look when the recipient receives it.
The HTML tab is a lot of mumbo jumbo that makes the script work. If
you are unfamiliar with HTML scripts you won't want to mess with this part
:o)
And that's it......I hope this
helps some of you...if you still have problems please let me know.
