Tubing Tutorial Page Two |
| After reducing your tube you will see some unwanted pixels that we missed around our tube. Click on your eraser tool and erase them away (making sure you eraser is set to 100% hardness, opacity and density.)
Now click on your graphic on your layer palette.....while holding down your mouse, drag the graphic to your work area like so, until your get the symbol shown to the left. Let go of your mouse button.
We do this to get rid of any unwanted canvas area around your tube (no need to save it and waste space)
Now you have your completed tube.... there are a couple of ways to save it. You can either export it as a tube (remembering that using this option will save it to your PSP tube folder)
You can also save your tube in PSP format (this is what I normally do, unless I want the tube to be available for my tube brush) Go to File and click on save as..... there is an option button at the bottom of your screen.... Click on it.
This is where we can specify that we want our tubes to be saved for all versions....you only need to do this once, PSP will save this information for all future saves (there is no need to check this option button again.) Once you click on the options button a box will pop up as shown below.... Click on Save as PSP 5 compatible...now the tube (or I guess I should say PSP file) can be used with all versions.
Have fun tubing everyone! :o) Hugs, Glenda...aka Ladybug
