Stain glass Tag Page Three |
| Follow these steps for each letter.....or you can do all colors at once.....whichever you like until you have this....
Click on your background layer. Add a layer and name it Text Backdrop. Click on your Lead Text layer. Touch your magic wand to the outside of your text so that the marching ants are moving around the glass panes like so...
Selections Invert
Selections Modify, Contact by 1. Click on your Backdrop layer and flood fill the selection with White. The reason for this is if a person wants to save the image as a Transparent Gif it will help to keep the colors true. Ok. Duplicate the Glass name layer as well as everyone of the Glass colored layers as shown below....Rename them as shown below with all the duplicated layers being the Bright layers.
Click on the Glass Name Bright layer..... Then up to Colors....Adjust, Brightness/Contrast.
Use these settings....
Do this for each Bright layer..... You should now have a normal colored layer for each color as well as a bright colored layer. I hope I explained that well enough for you :o) Ok.....we can start saving our frames.... We are not going to resize the tag until we take it into Animation shop. X-out these layers....Merge them together and save as frame 1. (You can use the Merge Visible Layers technique if you want to... whichever way you prefer to save your frames is fine)
Hit your undo button (to unmerge your layers) and now x-out these layers...Save as frame 2.
Hit your undo button (to unmerge your layers) and now x-out these layers...Save as frame 3.
Hit your undo button (to unmerge your layers) and now x-out these layers...Save as frame 4.
Hit your undo button (to unmerge your layers) and now x-out these layers...Save as frame 5.
Hit your undo button (to unmerge your layers) and now x-out these layers...Save as frame 6.
